Another Nightmare for Bodybuilding Industry – Dallas McCarver Is Nomore !!

According to several anonymous sources, we are sadly report that Dallas McCarver passed away. Earlier this news came as a rumour but now, its been confirmed by various credible sources.

Dallas McCarver, 6’1” tall and 300lbs massive man , was an IFBB professional bodybuilder and sponsored athlete from Tennessee , USA. Dallas has taken his pro card at the age of 21.Moreover, he won 3 out of 5 of his IFBB competition.

The cause of death as revealed by his girlfriend Dana Brooke , was by choking on food and it does not appear McCarver was trying to harm himself. Though main cause of death is still unkown and no further details have been reported. We will be updating the blog as more of the information becomes available.

What a difficult time and experience for fitness industry. We would like to send our prayers and thoughts to his family . we still can’t believe he died so unexpectedly.

However, as they say, the one who is adored the most by the god,is the one who achieves eternal life. #RIPDALLAS #WEWILLMISSYOU

He is the kind of guy who would be intimidating to run into dark alley. He is the lean, mean training machine and his physique is absolutely mind blowing.

Sahil Khan is one polarising figure and two ways about that. But what he also is a goldmine for the bloggers. An actor whose name might not be familiar to many, is now breaking the internet. The actor is also giving messages to think positive as never let your success go to your head. Never let failure go to your heart. He believed and showed that every dog has its day. without contraries is no progression. attraction and repulsion, reason and energy, love and hate are necessary to human existence. Sahil Khan is not just an actor or a body builder, he is the way of doing business in the future.. and with his recent posts he is silencing his haters.

This is Why You Don’t Trust Blindly Your Doctor In Case of Supplement!!

I have seen many people walking in gym and saying that doctor denied us to take this or that protein or supplement without having full information about them. I am sharing my recent experience. Few days back one female client from another gym asked me to give PROTEIN POWDER which should be lactose free & gluten free as recommended by doctor. So I had given her ‘DYMATIZE ISO100‘ which is lactose and gluten free but then after three days she says to me doctor denied me to take this product as it is not Gluten free. Without seeing the label and reading about the product doctor said this and she followed his advice blindly without herself looking that it is already gluten free and that’s what written as well on the product.

There’s a very thin line between blind faith and conscious faith. When confused or uncertain, it’s always good to take a second opinion from a knowledgeable person. My telling this information is not out of disrespect to the doctor.  It just means that I want all of you to know what the information is so you can make an informed decision without trusting anyone at once.  Seeing a doctor (or therapist) is not about the doctor making recommendations and me blindly following them. So next time you see your doctor or therapist and your doctor makes a recommendation, at least you also see the label of the supplement and Google about the product contents on companies official website.

A good nutritionist will appreciate your questions and take the time to explain things to you and to ask if you have concerns or questions about their recommendations. It is our job, so have no hesitation about asking few people without actually going for any decision if you can’t make decisions. Trust me; your doctor is not always correct. They in general are generally ignorant of bodybuilding nutrition.

Should I Wear Langot / Jockstrap While Working Out in Gym ?

Do you really believe in a very old custom of wearing a jockstrap/langot during any kind of workout?

I am being highly asked this question whether it’s safe to workout without wearing a jockstrap or not?

The answer is “NO“, you really do not need to wear it while you workout. As a matter of fact, wearing a tight jockstrap can harm your testicles. You might believe that it’s worn as a protection from hernia, but irony is, a tight jockstrap can lead to hernia. Such problems like hernia can be avoided by working on your core strengthening. The basic idea in past, of wearing a jockstrap during workouts was just for protection of one’s genitalia. But the truth is, it’s applicable only to some sports. Where the chances of getting injured are very high and jockstrap becomes an essential sport gear then. For eg: wrestlers in India tend to wear ‘langot’ for the protection of one’s genitalia. And so, like in other sports, where chances of injuries are extreme, a jockstrap is essential. A normal brief can fulfill the requirement of prevention of excess motion down there. Hence, to all my clients and fellow trainers who keep on asking this, I would say a clear no to this uncomfortable gym supporter aka jockstrap.
