Another Nightmare for Bodybuilding Industry – Dallas McCarver Is Nomore !!

According to several anonymous sources, we are sadly report that Dallas McCarver passed away. Earlier this news came as a rumour but now, its been confirmed by various credible sources.

Dallas McCarver, 6’1” tall and 300lbs massive man , was an IFBB professional bodybuilder and sponsored athlete from Tennessee , USA. Dallas has taken his pro card at the age of 21.Moreover, he won 3 out of 5 of his IFBB competition.

The cause of death as revealed by his girlfriend Dana Brooke , was by choking on food and it does not appear McCarver was trying to harm himself. Though main cause of death is still unkown and no further details have been reported. We will be updating the blog as more of the information becomes available.

What a difficult time and experience for fitness industry. We would like to send our prayers and thoughts to his family . we still can’t believe he died so unexpectedly.

Immodest Act – Indore Man Punches, Kicks a Girl in Gym | Caught in Camera Note for recent indore gym mishap

While both men and women work out in contemporary gyms , but there was a popular conception of the gym as a masculine institution which to some extend still continues.. Gender issues in the gym can be divisive or isolating, especially if your discipline is predominantly male or female . It doesn’t have to be that way though!!

Recently, a case of molestation has been registered against a man who brutally assaulted woman in the gym at Indore for resisting molestation.

The below provided video grab of CCTV footage clearly shows how man turned around and punched the woman, followed with kicks falling her to the knees.

This is just a one incident noticed as it was reported.. many more happens and are being unreported. No such kind of behaviour should be tolerable by anyone and everyone should raise their voice against it.

Here, the media raised an issue regarding gender gap. But if this issue is closely scrutinised, the point here is not just a gender issue!! This can even happen between man and man or woman and woman..

So, we are up here to provide u with few guidelines to be followed to avoid such mishaps :

  • Everytime you have any serious issues with any other client ,don’t talk back to him/her directly . Report to your trainer to resolve the issue.
  • In case you are female and not comfortable working under male trainer.. Hire female trainer..
  • Installation of CCTVs are must in today’s scenario.. there must be proper installation of camera covering every sector of workout area.
  • It is totally the responsibility of management to assure the safety of their clients. They should cancel the membership of those clients who are mischievous whose sole aim is not just only to be healthy.
  • DON’T TOLERATE! What you tolerate will continue… so report every disrespect , every misbehave happened to you to the trainer.

IT is better to try to keep a bad thing from happening than it is to fix the bad thing once it has happened.. So all gym enthusiasts, stay cautious, work hard stay fit !!!

Should I Wear Langot / Jockstrap While Working Out in Gym ?

Do you really believe in a very old custom of wearing a jockstrap/langot during any kind of workout?

I am being highly asked this question whether it’s safe to workout without wearing a jockstrap or not?

The answer is “NO“, you really do not need to wear it while you workout. As a matter of fact, wearing a tight jockstrap can harm your testicles. You might believe that it’s worn as a protection from hernia, but irony is, a tight jockstrap can lead to hernia. Such problems like hernia can be avoided by working on your core strengthening. The basic idea in past, of wearing a jockstrap during workouts was just for protection of one’s genitalia. But the truth is, it’s applicable only to some sports. Where the chances of getting injured are very high and jockstrap becomes an essential sport gear then. For eg: wrestlers in India tend to wear ‘langot’ for the protection of one’s genitalia. And so, like in other sports, where chances of injuries are extreme, a jockstrap is essential. A normal brief can fulfill the requirement of prevention of excess motion down there. Hence, to all my clients and fellow trainers who keep on asking this, I would say a clear no to this uncomfortable gym supporter aka jockstrap.
